Practiced with law firm of McDougal and Associates (1987-1993) and was involved in complex real estate litigation. Joined Littler Mendelson PC, the nation's largest employment law firm, in 1993, and became a shareholder in 1996. Became staff legal attorney for Zurich Insurance Company as an Employment Practice Leader managing and litigating employment cases for Zurich insureds throughout the United States.

• Has handled state and federal litigation at the trial and appellate levels, including appearing before the California Supreme Court, the United States Bankruptcy Panel and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Has appeared before various administrative and regulatory agencies. Has significant experience defending a wide variety of employment disputes in mediation, arbitration and court actions. Proactive in working with employers to implement risk reduction programs and policies. Develops and conducts training of employers on employment law subjects. Has spoken at various professional meetings and continuing legal education programs on employment and public law issues.
