• Mr. Martin has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a large variety of contract disputes; claims for misappropriation of ideas, inventions, and trade secrets; copyright and trademark infringements, violations of common law and statutory rights of publicity and unfair competition; and employment disputes.
• From March 1991 to June 1996, Mr. Martin practiced law in the Los Angeles office of Kirtland & Packard LLP in areas including product liability, aviation and trade secrets litigation.
• From June 1996 to November 2006, Mr. Martin practiced law in the Los Angeles office of Brown Raysman Millstein Felder & Steiner LLP, where he represented a number of technology-driven businesses, entertainment companies, art and music publishers, persons prominent in the film industry, and various national and international organizations in the litigation of business disputes and intellectual property and employment law cases.
• From December 2006 to March 2008, Mr. Martin practiced law in Los Angeles at Thelen Reid Brown Raysman & Steiner LLP. He joined Margolis & Tisman LLP in June 2008.
• Mr. Martin is a Visiting Lecturer of Economics at Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California. He taught Business Law in 2007 and will be teaching Ethics and Management in the fall of 2008.
• Graduate of Georgetown University (A.B., summa cum laude, 1987) and University of Michigan Law School (J.D., 1990).
