Practiced for 15 years in the Litigation Department of Hughes Hubbard & Reed, and 10 years in the Litigation Department of Proskauer Rose, LLP, national and international law firms, litigating complex commercial cases at the trial and appellate levels in federal courts throughout the United States and in the New York State courts.
Visiting Associate Professor of Law at New York Law School for 2 years, teaching courses on Federal Courts and the Federal System, Conflicts of Laws, and Advanced Civil Practice and Procedure.
Spent 2 years in the New York State Attorney General's Office in the Antitrust Bureau investigating and litigating antitrust cases.
Joined the law firm of Shiff & Tisman in 1997, where he has been Counsel to the firm, continuing his federal and state court litigation practice.
Became Senior Counsel to Margolis & Tisman LLP in 2006.
Mr. Parver's practice principally consists of complex commercial litigation in the Federal and New York State Courts, at the trial and appellate levels. In the course of his career he has litigated class actions; a wide variety of commercial cases, including contract disputes, insurance disputes, claims of breach of fiduciary duties, claims of theft of trade secrets, fraud claims, securities fraud claims and antitrust claims. He has also represented clients in arbitration and mediation proceedings.
